Frequently asked questions
Do I need minerals?
All water you drink contains minerals, including your tap water. Sküma purifies your water of all impurities and offers you with a perfect blend of magnesium, potassium and electrolytes that your body requires.
Are the minerals natural?
Our mineral mix is naturally sourced from the Great Salt Lake in Utah (U.S.A). The lake naturally contains high amounts of trace minerals like magnesium and potassium which makes it ideal to replenish your body’s electrolytes.
Is the water flavoured?
Skuma is “tasteless”. And by tasteless we mean no flavour is added to the water, just pure water and minerals. Some might say it is quite the opposite of tasteless since the purified water mixed with minerals gives the water a naturally smooth with a hint of sweetness.
What does it filter?
Skuma uses a 3 stage Reverse Osomosis filter combined in our Super filter. This filters out almost EVERYTHING from the water including but not limited to:
Virus & bacteria
Will Sküma work if I don’t refill the mineral tank?
Although we recommend you to use the minerals to reach optimal hydration, the machine will however work without the minerals. You will just be drinking plain RO purified water.
